Drafting Hell

Writing is hard. But I love it. And that's why today, I'm sharing my Fast Draft woes with you. Because I have to keep on going, so I can FINISH this book and sent it to awesome-agent-lady. (See her here). Thanks to author Candace Havens for giving me the tactics to push through, and Candace, if you're seeing this, the internal editor is gone. I solemnly swear that it is. ;)

    Great video! I laughed really hard when you said, "Some of it was in Spanish, some of it was in Chinese." For me, it's French and then it just turns into gibberish. I also know when I'm really tired when I start throwing grammar out of the window and can't even begin to understand one sentence. Right now I am working on a young adult novel about fallen angels. Good luck with your two week goal!

    Two weeks?! I can't even imagine how that's done. Thanks to WriteOrDie.com, I pump out a first draft in a couple of months, but that's the fastest I can manage.

    I'm just now getting around to watching this although I've had it on my "to do" list since I saw the link on my twitter feed. I'm not sure if I should be scared for my upcoming Fast Draft class or pleasantly thrilled that I will be finishing this book. Hopefully it will help me focus my mind. We all know how well me and focus get along...LOL! I know you will rock it out girl. You're fab!! :)
