Puppy Style- IMM + ARC review of Prized

Puppy decided to show my IMM book haul this week. Channeled toby from @flamingo1325World, meet Hurley. She is my personal bodyguard against solicitors selling cheap magazines, my vicious writing assistant, and a super loyal best friend. And now, for a quick ARC review of Prized (Birthmarked, #2) by Caragh M. O'Brien. I read book one a long while back, so it took me awhile to get into this one! When you get into this one, don't expect the same kind of book as the first one. It is VERY different! However, I love this new world so much. I love what the author has painted, that is so different from book one. I loved the main character Gaia, as I did in book one. She's strong, she's willing, and she's smart, which is my absolute fav type of character, but as the book goes on, she has a hard time staying true to herself. I think that's what would happen in real life, were someone to encounter the things that she does, and I love how there is redemption in the end, bringing her back to her true self. There's a twist, which made me keep flipping pages until the end. Click on the book cover image to be taken to its goodreads page.

    Ooh Fracture and Pure! Both look so awesome! Wish I could get my German Shepherds to sit still long enough to feature in a IMM pic. Maybe I'll give it a go next time. Mine are good for scaring off people who try to get their tennis balls back when they hit them over the back fence, waking me up early in the morning to do their business and kisses whenever I'm not looking hehe.
