My FIRST IMM ever!! :)

 This is my first time joining the IMM meme, hosted by The Story Siren!

So, I'll start with thanking HarperTeen for an amazing package on my doorstep this week!




Then, a big thanks to Razorbill, Sourcebooks, and my friend CC Hunter for these little shiny things I received!



I also found ARCs of these at my used bookstore, which always annoys me a little! ARCs are NOT for sale! I buy them because I feel like they need good homes, not just discarded and gathering dust on some shelf somewhere. Still...people should not be selling them!!

    Wow you got a lot of arcs this week. Everneath was really great and I can't wait for the second book because the ending of the first one just about killed me. I read all of Incarnate but I never really got into it, there was just something missing.
    Catching Jordan was AMAZING one of the best books I have read this year along with Mara Dyer.

    Oh my gosh, Lindsay!! This is your first IMM ever and you still have so many AMAZING books to read -- you're so lucky you have Everneath, Incarnate, and A Million Suns! Although I totally agree with you that nobody should be selling their ARCs. If anything, they should be given (free of charge) to another blogger or reviewer to spread the love!

    Luckily, I don't think I've ever come across an ARC at the used bookstore...at least not yet.

    That is surprising that the store was selling ARCs. I know I did donate one to a library once because it wasn't one I wanted to read that I won in a contest with a bunch of other stuff. So I'm not sure what they'd did with it. Oh well. At least the books got a good home!

    also, it's sad that bookstores sell ARCs. i know a lot of them do, but grr! i want to knock their heads together--and then demand the book for free because it says on the cover NOT FOR SALE. he he he.

    You are right. Arcs should never be sold of books. It's wrong, just plain wrong. Whenever I get arcs, I treat them with respect. Good haul.

    Awesome mailbox! You got a lot of books I can't wait to read. I've been hearing more and more lately that bloggers are finding ARCs as used bookstores. It makes me want to check all my local used bookstores to see if they have anything--I agree that they need a good home, since they shouldn't be for sale.
