Well, folks. This is where the magic happens. This is where I spend my time writing, talking on the phone with my agent and taking pages of notes, listening to music, getting the beach vibe, and getting inspiration from my bookshelf. I also write my music here! It's a little messy, but I love it. This spot landed me my agent. Got me amped up for a writer's conference, where I met some of my best friends, some amazing authors, got even more excited about writing...I love it. It's home.
Soon my writing space will be getting a makeover. Another bookshelf, a filing cabinet, a frame full of signed author swag, and a dry erase board to keep myself on track.

My writing space is a little white desk from IKEA. It's pretty simple, all it has is a chair (with a really squishy pillow!), those magazine holder things, a cup full of pens and pencils, colored sticky notes, and often my laptop. There are also a ton of magazine cut outs and stuff all over the walls. And, next to my desk is an overstuffed book shelf. (I really need to get a new bookshelf!) Thanks for sharing your space!
