I'M AGENTED!! (and a GIVEAWAY)

I've been waiting soo long to be able to write this post!

Are you ready?

Drumroll...

Seriously, you guys better be drumrolling from your computers, and if you're drinking starbucks peppermint hot chocolate or eating sprinkled donuts please cyber-share ;)

.........

.........

Agent-Lady!

I have an agent for my novel!!!!
Let me introduce the FABULOUS Louise Fury of LPerkins Agency!!
You guys...I cannot tell you  how EXCITED I am.
And...in shock. I knew this day would come...eventually. But not quite so fast! I met the hilarious and fiery Louise at DFWcon in February, spoke with her for a lightning-minute....but decided to hold off querying? Why? Because the manuscript wasn't...cough...cough...actually even written yet...But now within 1 exact week of sending Louise my manuscript, I have signed with her!

WHO WANTS TO CELEBRATE WITH ME?!!? How about a GIVEAWAY?!

I'm offering up another SWAG PACK. Some stuff will be signed, and it's a mystery of which authors.
All I can say is that I hope some day in the not-so-distant future, I will be able to offer up some swag of my own. If anyone can get me there it's Louise!

How to enter?

Leave a comment below about something great that has happened to YOU in the past week! I want to share the happiness all around! =] Leave an email as well, and I'll pick a random entry!

SO EXCITED! TEAM FURY ALL THE WAY! (hehe. get it?)

  3. Congratulations!
There's no better feeling when your hard work finally starts to amalgamate into something amazing. I really hope Louise gets you to where you want to be.

For my entry, the great thing that's happened to me this past week is that I've had a writing breakthrough, and I've never been happier with the story I'm currently writing. It feels splediferous when you have a clear picture of the story you want to convey in your head and can put it down on paper with zero speed bumps!

  38. CONRATS!!

Something exciting that happened to me this week, was that i have been working really hard on this blog and making my reviews sound professional and not like the little 19 year old tha i am so that authors would take me seriously and i could make real relationships with them and they would want me to review their work, instead of just me wanting to. WELL, recently i won a giveaway for book called Death Whispers by Tamara Rose Blodgett (amazing book i recommend it) and after winning she contacted me to get my info so i could get the e-book and she asked if i would review it so of course i said yes. Well after posing my review (which was so nerve racking to know that the author would read it when i gave an honest review) she contacted me thanking me and telling me how she put my button on her blog. I know its a small thing but it meant so much to me =D

  40. Congratulations, I am so happy for you. Don't forget us when your all Hunger Games kinda famous.

The awesome thing that happened to me is that on my way home walking on a major road crossing a a bridge that goes over a toll road I almost stepped on what I came to find was a kitten. I thought she was injured or dumped turns out she probably was dumped how else did she get there but not injured thank goodness so I took her home now shes all mine :) She was all scared and fidgety but now she strolls around the place like she owns it all 24 hours and she rules the roost. Has me wrapped around her little finger she pounces in my lap and bumps her head into my palm to get me to pet her awwwww I'm such a sucker for cute lol

The absolute BEST thing that happened to me this week actually happened today. I just finished reading my (newly decided so) favorite book! It's called The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. If you haven't read it, DO EET. Also, as I was finishing it, I was sipping from a STARBUCKS DRINK. Oh yum. It was a chai tea latte with cinnamon dolce syrup and cinnamon dolce sprinkles. I feel like a picky and precise priss (yay for aliteration!) when I order it cuz it's such a mouthful xD I'll try your peppemint hot chocolate if you try my Chai tea latte! :D

Hopefully one day I will get to review one of your books..how fun would that be. Lets see...something good that has happened to me this week ( I actually think I maybe behind on this LOL but I write anyway) I spent a long weekend with my husband in New Orleans to escape the day to day work load that we have. We both love the city and it was nice to get away by ourselves for awhile and just enjoy each other without the interference of life
