Hey everyone!
We're spreading the word about the amazing Writing and Illustrating for Young Readers conference this summer, and we need YOUR help! We need you to blog, tweet, and post about the conference, because we want writers to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!
So what's in it for you?
Critiques and signed books from famous authors, that's what! You want a five page critique by the fabulous CAROL LYNCH WILLIAMS, or a signed copy of Scott Westerfeld's novel, LEVIATHAN?! We've even got copies of keynoting author ALLY CONDIE's novel MATCHED and FRESHMAN FOR PRESIDENT to give away.
THE RULES:
Mention the Writing and Illustrating for Young Readers conference in as many online locales as you can: tweet it, blog it, and post it on your Facebook wall. Each spot will earn you ONE entry into the drawing. This contest will close on February 16th, 2011 at midnight MST.
As you post, be sure to post your links as comments on the Facebook page, under the contest note. Only entries logged as comments on the Facebook page will be counted, so make sure you're a fan!
THE PRIZES:
One (1) winner will receive an autographed set of Scott Westerfeld's LEVIATHAN (paperback) and BEHEMOTH (ARC).
Two (2) winners will receive a copy of Ally Condie's MATCHED (hardcover) to be signed at the conference.
Three (3) winners will receive an autographed copy of Ally Condie's FRESHMAN FOR PRESIDENT.
. . . AND THE GRAND FINALE:
Participants who sign up for the WIFYR conference by February 28th, 2011 at midnight MST will be entered into a drawing to receive a five page (manuscript formatted) critique by CAROL LYNCH WILLIAMS!
