My Favorite Super Hero

If you're like me, then you spent your childhood (technically, I think I'm still in the stages of childhood, as is everyone else in the world at some point or time) thinking that superheroes were totally the bomb.com.

I thought Superman was the coolest- especially the tights and the glasses when he slid back into his everyday identity of Clark Kent. There was Catwoman, who was undeniably saucy, especially when played by Halle Berry in 2004- I swear I wanted to be her for months after I saw that movie. Iron Man, the Hulk, Captain America (go USA!), the list could go on and on.

But none of these are my favorite superhero. My superhero is so much better than all of them combined.
He's strong- literally, he could lift the world with one finger, which is so much cooler than Superman's trademark "I can spin the world backwards on its axis with my flight pattern."

My superhero is a man- a real man, not a teenage photography nerd like Spiderman's true identity, Peter Parker.
My superhero is honest- he wouldn't hurt a fly, but wow, he sure could if he wanted to.
My superhero is selfless, like all heroes, but he'd die for any one of us if need be, and he's done it before.
My superhero defeats death- literally cannot be laid to rest in a grave... Can yours?
My superhero has no faults, no sins, no fears- he's not afraid of Kryptonite.
My superhero has enemies- lots of them, but he defeats them all. He doesn't even have to try. The Green Goblin does not scare him, nor does the Joker or Lex Luthor or Doctor Octopus.
My superhero is loving and kind- he's a father to more children then the Octomom and he's the best at guiding his kids through life.
My superhero has the largest book in the world written solely about him. And no, he's not Chuck Norris.
My superhero doesn't have to wear a mask to hide his identity from the world. He wants us to know who he is. He wants us to follow him, love him...
My superhero gave me the best gift I will ever receive- eternal life.

My favorite superhero is Jesus Christ. Who is yours?
